Who is Steve Speed?
Stephen R. Speed was born in Wilmington, DE to Richard E. Speed and Marianne G. (Speed) Copes. He has one brother and three sisters and was educated in and graduated from East Dover Elementary School, Dover Central Middle School, and Dover High School. Married to Lori for 25 years, he is the proud and loving father of Shannon and Skyler Speed. Steve has traveled all over the world, but when it came time to settle down, he and Lori decided to come home to Kent County, Delaware. The Speeds returned to Dover in 1994 to live, work and raise their family; in part because Dover is a growing modern city that retained it's small-town flavor. Of all the places they have lived, it is the only place they wanted to call home.
